Abstract

It was developed a technique to estimate the area of leaflet (AF) for strawberry cultivar Campinas through measurements of its width and length. The area was adjusted to linear model, expressed by the equation AF = -0.2432 + (0.9783 . Af), inside a greenhouse and AF = -0.6186 + (0.9717 . Af) at the field, the R2 for both equations was 0.98. The Af was determined by the equation: /4 .[(C+L) /2]2 .
