Abstract

The aplication of drainage theory to bamboo drain was studied, to objectify agricultural design and another aim. Carried out too a comparative study with bamboo + bidim drain and plastic drain. The bamboo drain was more effective in the water table control in 3% declivity drain, but presented problems to operate, specialy in the bigger declivity segment (6%), because of the dragged sediments.
