Résumé:
The crop water stress index (CWSI) was determined for dry bean crop (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) grown in vases submitted to different soil water tension in the greenhouse conditions, and using the infrared thermometry system associated with energy balance approach. The soil water availability factor was determined by means of weighing mini-lysimeters. The maximum value of CWSI (0.72) was found on treatment with irrigation interval of seven days, when the soil reached 0.10% of the total available water. It was found that the CWSI correlated well with soil water availability factor, in which the CWSI increased as the available soil water decreased.
