Resumo:
In this work it was developed a rainfall infiltrometer, it presents some precipitation characteristics such as diameter distribution and cinetic energy of raindrops closely related to the natural rainfall. From the results, it was concluded that: a) the water precipitation distribution uniformity expressed by Christiansen’s uniformity coefficient presented values varying from 82% to 87%; b) the ratio between the cinetic energy from simulated rainfall and the cinetic energy from natural rainfall was above 90% for precipitation intensities up to 100 mm h-1.
