Resumo:
This study was carried out at the Laboratory of Irrigation and Salinity at the DEAg/CCT/UFPB. The effects of the Bravo e Primavera bentonites, from Boa Vista city, Paraíba state on the soil chemical properties , were evaluated in samples of a dystrophic rhegosol. Such samples of soil from zero to 20 cm depth were incubated at field capacity for 120 days with rates of bentonites equivalent to 0, 30, 60 e 90 t/ha. After that, the chemical alterations were evalueted in the samples of the soil . The bentonites didn’t influence the levels of the exchangeable K and Al and available P, but increased soil pH and exchangeable Ca, Mg, Na and CEC. The two bentonites showed similary performance.
