Résumé:
The influence of induced flow on River-Aquifer system was investigated
in an aquifer adjacent to the river in São Bento, PB. The data of CDRM on wells were
used. The capture zones of wells and direct induction to the river were investigated. The
graphs thus traced are important in monitoring the contaminated aquifer. The stagnation
point was located and the distance between this and the well helped in determining the
geometry of the extraction zone. A model in which the direction of regional flow was not
coinciding with that of the gaining river was developed, which permitted evaluation of
maximum pumping rate, β that induces infiltration of flow from the river to the well.
These concepts elucidated here-in are useful in the control of pollution of agro-toxics in
agricultural fields.
