Abstract:
Entrepreneurship is a topic that has been studied and explored for many years in various fields, notably in the areas of administration and business. An interesting aspect, in this sense, is that in administration training, the topic ―young entrepreneurship‖ is configured as a rising sub-area, given its emerging and significant potential for the social, economic and urban development spheres. However, few works make reference to the most relevant and regularly addressed aspects in academic publications focused on this topic, making research and analysis in this domain difficult. In this sense, this article aims to analyze publications carried out in the last 10 years, that is, between 2013 and 2023, referring to young entrepreneurship, through a bibliometric study carried out in the SCOPUS database, through CAPES journals - Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel. This investigation was supported by the VOSviewer software, where it was possible to build maps capable of listing the authors, publication territories, keywords and other aspects of the selected texts. In the end, it was concluded that the level of publications related to youth entrepreneurship is relevant to the different socioeconomic and cultural aspects presented by the publication countries. Furthermore, it was noted that youth entrepreneurship is linked to several factors, such as youth unemployment and, consequently, the need for income, as well as the impact of education on the process of forming entrepreneurial intentions for young people. Finally, this work seeks to provide some insights, even if initial, on the topic and serve as a starting point for future studies and investigations in the area.
