Potencialidades de irrigação de um aluvião eutrófico do Vale do Curu - Pentecoste - CE.

Abstract

To characterize areas of the irrigated part of the “Fazenda Experimental da Universidade Federal do Ceará” with determinations and analysis of soil, hydraulic conductivities and infiltration with cilinder infiltrometer. The results show a significant difference in water holding capacity between soil profiles and among hozons withing the same profile. This is because probably differnce of the texture and structure. The increase of the density and tendency for compaction, probably due to use intense of the machinery.
