Resumen:
The crop of “murcote” tangerine was irrigated with three differents kinds
of sprays providing three wetting areas and four irrigated depth of application and one not
irrigated control. Predawn and between 11 and 12 hours leaf water potential were
evaluated. The number of fruits per plant was obtained in the harvesting time with the
determination of average weigth of fruits from each plot. The data analysis indicated the
leaf water potential decrease with the reduction of irrigation depth, beeing lower in the
not irrigated control plot. In the wetting areas 1 and 2, the analysis of variance indicated
significance for irrigation treatment for the number of fruits per plant, average weigth
per fruit and yield. The results are preliminary once this is the first yield .
