Probabilidade sazonal de precipitação para a região do sertão alagoano.

Abstract

This paper analysed quantitatively the precipitation probabilities for four seasonal periods, of seven localities in the Arid Region of the State of Alagoas. Four distribution functions were appraised, using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Teste, with the objective of determining the function that could better fit the historical series of data analysed. The results showed that the Gamma distribution function was the one with the best agreement.
