Probabilidade de ocorrência de veranicos sob condições de cerrado em região do estado de Mato Grosso.

Abstract

In this work it was determined by simulations, the probabilities of occurrence of dryspell with different lasting period for a region of the “Cerrado” of the State of Mato Grosso. The data of precipitation were obtained at the Main Weather Station in a site called São Vicente da Serra. A computer program was used in order to do the simulations. The results of the simulations showed that the months of June, July and August were the ones with higher probability of longer dryspell periods for the considered region.
