Abstract

The aim of this work was to determine the probability of occurrence of sequence of dry days and its effects on corn yield at Dourados, MS. The sequence of dry days and its respective loss of yeild it was simulated through a computer program. The effect of sequence of dry days it stronger at flowering and grain filing periods. The loss of yeild it was higher for a corn cultivated at summer season, despite of higher probability of ocurrence of sequence of days happened to corn cultivaded at autumnwinter season.
