Résumé:
The research aimed to rediscover the particularities of the history and struggles of the settlement
and Quilombola community of Gurugi II, thus creating new possibilities for democratically
discovering and reinventing relationships of solidarity and responsibility in the process of
socio-cultural reorganization of the countryside. Looking at our time, and the situation of the
communities and settlements, with regard to the social, the character with which human beings
are treated in current times in the country, as history and the right to organize, the original
peoples are still very much disregarded. Above all, due to the lack of attention paid to them by
the territorial states. Thus, the research is presented as generating bibliographic material on the
subject, mainly for the field of education and the social sciences. And in this way, the work, the
project and the empowerment of the women of the Association of Black Women of the
Countryside are highlighted. As well as being black women, entrepreneurs, mothers of families,
warriors, they are resistance and inspiration for other women of any ethnicity or social
background. In this way, they awaken the wisdom in those involved and make them carry the
stories of our ancestors in their memories, so the research shows us the entire history of the
settlement and the community where the participants live, as well as the history and memories
of the women in the association. In order to generate these materials, we used the methodology
of producing letters and interviews at the homes of some of the women in the community.
