Resumo:
In a field test was study the effect of irrigation with marginal waters quality (salinities) about melon yield (var. yellow), conduced in drip irrigation system. There was utilize six (6) levels of salinity (EC = 0.46; 1.50; 3.00; 4.50; 6.00; 7.50 dS.m-1), artificial obtained for NaCl addition. Results showed which water with EC 3.00 dS.m-1 didn’t affect the yield. However, waters with EC upper 4.50 dS.m-1 decrease the yield sensitively, while that treatment (EC = 4.50 dS.m-1) didn’t propound statistics differences significants with lower EC water.
