Abstract:
The effects of different soil water potential on development and
productivity of yellow pepper Cv. Marengo Hy was studied under field and greenhouse
conditions at the Universidade Estadual Paulista. It was adopted matric potentials of -11
kPa, -32 kPa, -50 kPa and -65 kPa. The conclusions were: the parameters of plant
development and yield were significantly affected by the different soil matric potentials;
the best results for yield and growth were obtained at potential values of -11 kPa and -32
kPa.
