Regionalização espacial e temporal das chuvas no estado da Paraíba empregando-se interpolação de dados e análise multivariada.

Abstract

The aim of this work was to delimit and describe spatial and temporal homogeneous, relative to rainfall, in the State of Paraíba, Brazil. 157 hydrometeorological units were considered, of INMET stations and SUDENE stations.Interpolation with Kriging method was applyed to thirteen variables, which were constituted by whole mean yearly rainfall and rainfall monthly percentuals calculated in relation to the first variable. Results were submitted to grouping and discriminating analysis, and six homogeneous regions were delimited and characterized
