Resumo:
A work was conducted to evaluate and compare three optimization
mathematical models: The objective function for all the models was to optimize the
allocation of irrigated areas with different crops under several areas, water and market
conditions, locking for the maximization of the profit. The non linear programming
furnished the highest profit and therefore it is reccomended for the optimization work.
Although the separable linear programming offered an utility similar to the non-linear
model its formulation and interpretation is complex. The standard linear program
presented the highest crop-water requirements, the smallest cultivated area and therefore
the lowest utility. A sensitivity analysis was also conducted for the non-linear model.
