Resumen:
In this study, the objetive was to determine the moisture redistribuition in field
on an Yellow-Red Podzolic Soil, cultivated with banana, observing the wetting front
evolution through the time and also a moisture meter in field capacity, using soil moisture
meters and drips of diferenciated discharges. The moisture curves on field capacity were done
for elaboration of wet bulb. The wet bulb shape apresented 114cm in a transversal direction
and 108cm in a longitudinal direction for the average width and discharge of 6,0L/h, till a
depth of 60cm. For the conditions of tropicals sandy soils, the field capacity corresponding
the matric potencial of 10 kPa isn't accept, because the average of matric potencial obtained
for the field capacity in this soil was 6,0 kPa for the discharge of 6 L/h.
