Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop a spreadsheet, into the Microsoft Excel ambient, for performing the trickle irrigation emitter parameter calculations, used in the design of these systems. The user of this software interacts in the iterative and decision making processes. The spreadsheet performs the calculations quickly and provides accurate results on the screen, becoming a study on this subject much more comfortable and, also, providing more timing availability for a more precise analysis on the different interactions between the hydraulic parameters involved in the design, that could contribute for making better decisions.
