Abstract

The objective of this research was to develop a spreadsheet, into the Microsoft Excel ambient, to determine the diameters and the parameters of the water delivery systems (water main pipe and pump) of irrigation projects. The spreadsheet allows a friend interaction with the user, and performs the computations precisely and prints the results quickly, minimizing the spending time in calculation routine operations. It showed to be an useful tool for rural continuous teaching, designers, teachers and students.
