Resumen:
Grain and powder mixing is widely used in agriculture industry, mainly in manipulation of the fertilizers with agro-toxines. The main goal of this research is to evaluate the influence of the rotatation in function of the propeller surface area and the volume rate, to obtain the best homogeneization. It has been used two types of grain products with 0,15 mm diameter The volume rate was 40, 50 and 60% of the useful volume of the mixer with fixed body. At the mixer rotor, it has been fixed six flat triangular paddles with different areas. The test runs were carried out at four different rotations. It has been observed that for the paddles with bigger surface areas and smaller volume rates, the best rotations were the largest.
