Abstract

This experiment was destined to evaluate the performance of a new type of sprayer equipment, projected to apply herbicides in the rows and inter-rows of the crop, called Chemical Cultivator. The application in the inter-rows is made through hood sprayer nozzles, which permitt the use of non-selective herbicides. The experiment was conducted on corn crop, where it was observed that the system permits the application of selective herbicides in the rows and non-selective herbicides in the inter-rows, which results in total safety to the crop.
