Avaliação da aplicabilidade do cultivador químico tipo hood-sprayer no controle das plantas daninhas na cultura do algodão.

Abstract

A field experiment on cotton crop was conducted to evaluate tthe practicability of a new type of sprayer, the Chemical Cultivador. This equipment applies non-selective herbicide in the inter-rows through hood-sprayer and selective herbicide in the rows of the crop in one single operation. After application, the practibility of the equipment, safety, phitotoxity, stand, crop delelopment, besides tjhe efficacy of the produts were evaluated. The results showed that the equipment is viable in the pratice and shall bhe submitted to some modifications in relation to the rows calibration to improve its performance.
