Abstract

This research had the objective to check the performance, on field conditions, of an agricultural tractor, with change in its tires dimensions. It was utilized a tractor 4WD, tires 18.4-30, 18.4-34 and 13.6-38 and analyzed, for the evaluation of performance: draw bar pull, slippage, bar power, velocity, coefficient of traction and machine field capacity. The results shown, statistically, worst performance of the tire 18.4-30 in the parameters bar power, slippage, velocity, coefficient of traction and field capacity.
