Abstract

This work had as the principal aims a development of on equipment for cut/to join bean for conditions the ours soils. The equipment developed is for to attach in the front of the tractor with hidraulic action. The performance tests of equipment were done in two different conditions of soil, grain moistures and bean varieties. The evaluated parameters were: the percentage of plants not cut, the losses by mechanical damage and the power required by the equipment as a function of tractor speed.
