Resumo:
The objective of this work was to study the agricultural tractor tire deformation. The tire deformation is an important factor that define the ride vibration, the lateral stability and traction capacity of a tractor. In the present work the vertical tire deformation was measured for a R1 tire types (diagonal, 6 plies and measuring 14.9-28) and for a F1 front tires (diagonal, 8 plies and measuring 7.50-16). The tests were done for three levels of tire wearing, four levels of filling pressure, four levels of vertical forces and three replications. Throughout the analysis of data two equations were found to estimate the vertical deformation of agricultural tires.
