Resumen:
The present work was undertaken on the experimental campus of the Universidade Federal de Lavras, on a soil classified a dystrophic dusky red Latosol, clayey texture, with a view to evaluating the influence: a) of the time interval between the last secondary disk harrowing and sowing; b) of sowing system and c) weed control system upon the development and yield of the 3210 hybrid corn of Pioneer. The experimental design was in split-plots with four replications, being the sowing systems in the plots and weed control systems in the sub plots. The time intervals between the last disk harrowing and the sowing were 0 and 40 days, respectively. For comparing the averages, Tukey’s test at the 5% probability test. By means of the analysis of the results, it is possible to find that the sowing systems and weed control had influence on the corn yeld.
