Résumé:
This course conclusion work aimed to investigate the conceptions of a class of 3rd
grade students at ECIT Jornalista José Itamar da Rocha Cândido, located in the
municipality of Cuité, Paraíba, regarding the teaching of Physics. To achieve this
objective, field research was carried out using a questionnaire with 14 questions that
provided quantitative and qualitative information. As a result, we were able to draw a
general profile of the students interviewed on topics such as: whether they like the
place where they study; if they enjoy studying and consider Physics to be a relevant
subject, etc. Regarding the Physics classes, the students showed satisfaction,
considering that the school's Physics teacher has a very varied repertoire, making
use of experimental, dynamic practices, in addition to having excellent teaching skills
and mastery of the content. A very positive result, going against what we find in the
literature on Physics teaching. Therefore, new questions arise that can be objects of
future studies.
