Abstract

With the intencion to avaible the equation propose by Goring (1962) for predict the coeficient particion of pesticide between the liquid and solid fases of soil (kd), column of soil were confectioned using disturbed soil samples the main potato growing regions in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The experiment was mainly based on movement of solutions through soil columns at steady-state conditions, for the concentration range recommended by the manufacturer. The effluent of the soil columns were analyzed by gas chromatography techniques. The results allowed to verify that the use of equation propose by Going (1962), with the objective obtainment the factor of retardament of solutes in the soil, become improper in soil with high organic content.
