Abstract

The citriculture occupation and the accelerated erosion of soil in citrus orchards were avaliated by the utilization of the photointerpretation technics. The study area represents a citriculture zone of Ribeirão Preto region. The approximate citriculture occupation área were 20% and 33% of the global área, respectively for l983 and l988 years. The erosion problem in citriculture area was very serious. The intense and very intense erosions on those areas were very expressive.
