Análisis fisiográfico y evaluación de tierras para un sector del Valle del Cauca (Colombia).

Abstract

The aim of our work was the application of the physiographic analysis method (CIAF system) at a semidetailed scale so as to get to know and explain landscapes for their posterior evaluation (FAO).\ Aerial photography has played a fundamental role in physiographic analysis because photointerpretation has made the detection of anthropic and physical phenomena closely related to the landscapes founded. The usefulness and efficiency of the photographic analysis and its classification by means of the CIAF system were confirmed by the fact that we got a precise delimitation of the landscapes in the semidetailed survey which increased the efficiency of the land evaluation.
