Abstract

This study was performed to show an estimative of terracing introduction cost in rio Caxanga watershed, Parana, Brazil, with regard to type, use and management of soil and slope, using geographics informations system (GIS). The use of GIS allowed accurate characterization of the area, transforming in a important tool on soil management and environment medium study.
