Abstract:
The present work had for objective to evaluate the environmental and productive effects, as the gases of concentration, of the different accommodation’s systems on the performance broiler commercial lineage Cobb avian 48, in conditions of summer of 2007, in the of Puxinanã city, which is located in Paraiba’s semi-arid region. The experiment was accomplished at two poultry houses, being one with roof of ceramic tiless (CG) and other with roof of tiless of fibro cement (GA). Evaluated was to the indexes of thermal comfort, the broiler litter conditions, the concentration of gases and sound pressure levels of each poultry house besides the productive indexes: weight gain, daily weight, alimentary conversion, mortality rate and discount age. A total of 22.000 birds, mixed lot with a day of age was used in the begin of the experiment up to 42 days of age in the end of the same. The environmental indexes were daily measured, every hour, of the 8 to the 17 h. It was ended that the accommodation’s systems of poultry houses both provided, in some the day of schedules situation of environmental discomfort. The productive indexes obtained satisfactory results for the industry of broiler in this region. With relationship the gases and noises of concentration nor the birds and the workers were exposed to the insalubrities.
