Resumo:
This research includes the analysis of reading practice in the education of young people and adults in Brazil
Literate in the municipality of Cuité—PB, for two months. We seek to verify how the
teaching work influences the learning of EJA students, as there is still a large
reading difficulty. The methodology was based on direct observation in classes and interviews
for teachers, comparing theory with practice we seek to establish the guidelines that
guide the work of teachers. The investigation showed that the theory does not match the
