Resumen:
This study focuses on the narratives of four university students about their experiences relating to the functioning of gender performativity and sexual orientation during their time in basic education and higher education. The general objective of the research that resulted in this Course Conclusion Paper is to understand, through the analysis of the narratives of the four interviewed subjects, their agency in relation to the regulatory regimes of gender and sexual orientation, as well as the construction networks of students' educational experiences. university students defined as divergent in relation to heteronormativity and the traditional gender binary, in UEPB and UFCG. This is a research with a qualitative approach, carried out through open interviews with our interlocutors about their social and subjective experiences in the family, religious and, above all, educational spheres. The research revealed that the schooling experience for those who blur the binary boundaries of gender and challenge the cisheteronormative order is crossed by mechanisms of subalternization of dissent, as well as by the negotiations and resistance developed by the subjects in relation to the norms operating in the social space in general and specifically in educational sphere.
