ambiente e velocidade do vento. A superfície de captação solar e de 1 m2 , a quantidade de
metanol introduzida inicialmente no sistema e de 7,6 litros e o reator contem 20 kg de carvão
ativado.
isolantes semi-transparentes (cobertura TIM).

This work consists of the theoretical study of an adsorption refrigeration system,
using the activated charcoal AC-35 / methanol pair, with regeneration by solar energy. The system
operates on an intermittent cycle: refrigerated production takes place during the night, and during the day
the regeneration of the adsorptive bed is achieved by the thermal conversion of solar energy. a
calculation program was designed to simulate the operation of the refrigerator, depending on the
of the following meteorological data: global solar irradiation, air temperature and humidity
environment and wind speed. The solar capture surface is 1 m2, the amount of
methanol initially introduced into the system and 7.6 liters and the reactor contains 20 kg of coal
activated. Two types of coverage of the solar collector / reactor component were considered:
with a single stained glass window, and another with a double stained glass window
semi-transparent insulation (TIM cover). The thermal conversion efficiency of the system
the latter type of coverage was 40% higher than that obtained with the
a good agreement between these values and those resulting from
experimental works found in the literature. The simulation results for the days
average of the hottest six months of João Pessoa-PB indicate that the minimum production of
ice was about 7 kg in February, and the maximum was 10 kg in December. O
The mean value of the net solar performance coefficients obtained was 0.063, in the case of
simple coverage, and 0.129 for the TIM coverage case, for amounts of energy
solar incident of 20 to 23 MJ / m2. |
