Resumen:
Brazil faces serious difficulties in relation to social inequality, due to the distribution of
wealth in an unequal way, causing suffering for a large part of the population. Public policies serve to reduce these disparities by realizing the fundamental objectives of the Democratic State of Law, as set out in the constitutional text, such as the Minimum Income Transfer Programs, which make it possible to improve the lives of the society that lives in conditions of miserability. The general objective of the study was to investigate the influence of the Bolsa Familia Program on the income composition of the beneficiary women of the Municipality of Prata / PB. The specific objectives were to analyze the State's actions in the fight against poverty and social inequality as a way of guaranteeing the dignity of the human person, to investigate the importance of the Bolsa Familia Program in combating poverty and social inequality and to verify the impact of the Bolsa Program Family in the composition of the income of beneficiary women and in the reduction of poverty and social inequality in the Municipality of Prata / PB. In order to reach the predefined objectives, a descriptive exploratory research was carried out, based on a bibliographical reference, together with a case study in the Municipality of Prata / PB, having as a sample, due to the small time for its realization, the random universe of 44 women beneficiaries of the Bolsa Familia Program. As a result, the positive effect on the autonomy of the beneficiary women and on the composition of family income was observed, generating positive socioeconomic effects in the city of Prata / PB.
