Résumé:
The present work is the result of the master's research developed in the area of
Sociology, through the use of cordel literature, which is an important instrument to
facilitate sociological teaching, contributing to overcome the gaps left by traditional
education, a consequence of the period of intermittence of the discipline in the
curriculum and aggravated by the new reform of high school. Thus, this research aims
to carry out a pedagogical workshop using cordel literature as a potentiating didactic
resource in the teaching-learning process in the teaching of Sociology, through
mediation with the theme "Culture and cultural industry". In the development of the
research, we used the theoretical assumptions of qualitative research, through the
Participant-Research in which data collection was used, through the questionnaires
applied to the students in the class of the 2nd EJA module. In the course of the
research we found that the use of cordel as a didactic resource enhances the teaching
of sociological concepts, promoting a greater dynamism in the assimilation and
production of knowledge, as well as offering subsidies for teachers to teach their
classes with greater creativity, contributing to the formation of conscious, critical and
autonomous students.
