Resumo:
This experience report aims to present and reflect on pedagogical practices in the context of teaching History carried out in full-time classes at the Padre Simão Fileto Municipal Elementary School, located in the city of Cubati-PB, in the year 2024, referencing the history of the Cubatiense Project of Inclusion through Capoeira and Afro-Brazilian Manifestations and its contribution to the insertion of capoeira in the schools of the aforementioned municipality. The pedagogical experience refers to the activities carried out in Capoeira classes, in the Culture and Art discipline, which involves African and Afro-Brazilian History and Culture, developed in the 6th grade (A/B), 7th grade (A/B) and 8th grade (A/B) classes. In this sense, in this report we qualitatively address the activities developed, with the help of a bibliographical analysis and the action research method. The sources used were the songs and the notes on the pedagogical practice. To support the work I used Bittencourt (2018); Brazil (1988), (1996), (2003); Freire (1996); Campos (2001); Souza (2016); among others.
