Resumo:
This research was planned and carried out from the perspective of reader
training at Escola do Campo. When thinking about the problem of distaste for
reading on the part of a substantial portion of male and female students, who do
not feel motivated to read and consequently dialogue and write about what has
been read, it is therefore necessary to think of strategies to positively impact
moments of reading in the classroom. Given this, we took Cordel's literature as a
basis, which is a strong ally in the formation of critical readers who are engaged
in the act of reading. The work chosen to guide good reading practices was
Brazilian Black Heroines: in 15 Cordéis (2020), by Ceará author Jarid Arraes, a
work that inspired not only reading, but also the perspective of rescuing and
recording real narratives of women black women from the PIO -X community,
where the students are located. Thus, readers became producers of literary
texts in cordel format, in order to highlight the voices that are so close to the
school community, but that are not part of the teaching and learning process,
however they enhance the rapprochement with the local community and
provides a perspective on reading the world and reading the words of the
community's ancestral voices.
