Resumo:
This work aims to analyze the proposals in the teacher's manual, in the textbook of the Araribá
Conecta collection: Geography, for the 6th year of Elementary School, authored by Cesar
Brumini Dellore, 1st edition, Ed. Moderna 2022, paying attention to the proposal of its
composition on how the conceptual and visual representation of the physical-natural
components Relief and climate are addressed in the respective work, considering the guidelines
established by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). The analysis revealed that,
although there are significant advances in the contextualization and integration of content,
challenges still persist, such as the fragmentation of themes, the superficiality in the exploration
of geological and climatic processes, and the lack of regionalization in the examples presented.
The study also highlighted the importance of an effective and meaningful approach to these
components in the teaching-learning process. It is concluded that, for a more complete and
integrated geographic education, it is essential to overcome the identified limitations and
promote a critical and contextualized understanding of geographic space.
