Abstract:
This dissertation studies the space of production and reproduction of familiar producers, descendents of Italian colonists, integrad to agrodindustries, through pig-breeding
establishments, located on the municipality Ouro-Santa Catarina. For that, three questions were proposed: 1) What did bring these colonists to integrate to agroindustries? E) How do they live this velashionship? 3) How do they develop their autonomy? To answer these questions we studied the objective situation lived by the selected colonists in diferent moments of their social trajectory, bringing out the historical conditions that allowed that integration to come out. The way they arrange their productive unity, their division of labour and their daily life, as well as the meaning of the relationship developed among
themselves. From these elements we could analyse specific points of the relationship between producer and agroindustry. Finally, we observed that the studied people have an
active participation on the determination of their social condition which is the result of their insertion in the produtive process, as well as of the game of the social forces of which
they, producers and agroindustries, participate.
