Abstract

The essay promotes a psychoanalysis of the feminine in the dramaturgical cordel Maria Roupa de Palha by playwright Lourdes Ramalho (2008), based on the theories of the heroine's journey (Murdoch, 2022), survival (Reis, 2017) and the psychoanalysis of fairy tales. fairies (Bethelheim, 2020). Ramalh's text leads us to question the Cinderella archetype in the light of Perrault's story (1999) with the aim of broadening the worldview of the feminine today.
