Abstract:
Youth and Adult Education (EJA) is a form of public school education in Brazil, with the
objective of developing elementary and high school with quality for people who do not have
school age and opportunity. To include these young people and adultsin the educational system,
to provide teaching conditions, is a necessity and to guarantee that access to the school by those
persons, who for one reason or another in the course of their lives have been deprived of this
right, which regulate human rights and Education as a whole. The present research has the
purpose of reflecting on the teaching process of young people and adults in the municipality of
Congo / PB and its relation with social inclusion. The objective of the work is to: • Awaken and
understand the importance of the EJA for the rescue of human dignity and social inclusion,
deprived of an unjust and prejudiced society to the less privileged; The relevance of the study
is evidenced when in the role of pedagogical coordinator in the research institution, it was
possible to observe the importance of this type of teaching in people's lives. The methodology
used was exploratory and participant observation, as well as the application of questionnaires
together with the students of the public education of EJA. The research had satisfactory results
because we could observe how important is the vision that the student of the EJA has of the
school and the Return to schooling, becoming the main factor of their stay in school, as well as
pointed out the real difficulties encountered when returning to school.
