Resumo:
This work presents a technique of parameter adjustment of a static compensator based on a linearized model of the compensator interconnected to a dynamic equivalent model. The dynamic equivalent model is used to reduce the order of the power system. On the interconnected model of the static compensator / dynamic equivalent optimization techniques are used for the adjustment of gains and time constants of the static compensator. For the purposes of illustration of the presented techniques, the Western system of the São Francisco Hydroelectric Company (CHESF) is used, with models and parameters of the static compensator control system provided by this Company and the other parameters of the transmission / generation system obtained from (Mota, 1981).
