Determinação do número de frutos necessários por meio de estimativas de repetibilidade para avaliação de um processo de limpeza para tomate de mesa.

Abstract

The goal of this work in to establish the minimum number of fruits of tomato to be evaluated taking in to account repeatability estimates of a clean tomatoes process in a packing line located at Monte Mor, São Paulo state. The equipment used to measure the efficient of the cleaning process was developed at FEAGRI/UNICAMP, which is composed of a ring evolved with white cloth. Samples were taken before and after the cleaning step and evaluated using a colorimeter HUNTER Lab, in the CIELAB (L, a, b) scale. The experimental results showed that it is necessary to evaluated around 10 to 15 fruits in order to obtain a good representation of the data.
