Résumé:
A field experiment was carried out in Barbalha, CE, to evaluate the effect of diferent
irrigation dephts and planting densities on cotton fibre quality of BRS 200 Marrom cultivar. The
experimental design was a split-plot in randomized blocks, disposed in crop strips, with four
replications. Four irrigation dephts (450, 550, 650 and 750 mm) and four planting densities (55.500;
111.000; 166.500 and 222.000 plants ha-1) were studied. A furrow irrigation system to applied the
amount of water at each irigation event was used. It was observed that irrigation dephts and plant
densities had not effect on fibre technological characteristics of tested cultivar.
