Transporte de soja do estado do mato grosso: uma aplicação de programação linear.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to estimate the Mato Grosso soybean flows for the main alternatives to exportation. The estimates had been made by the application of a mathematical model based in the instrumental origin-destination matrices and evaluated three scenes. As main results, the model indicated that the intermodal options would have to be used for soybean transportation, specially the high-waterway route to Port of Santarém that represents 60% of the exportations, followed by the high-railway route to Port of Santos with 21%.
