The paper titled Integral Education in the Municipality of Parari-PB: Family and Student Representations adresses the perceptions of students and families regarding the implementation of full-time education in the municipalista of Parari-PB, considering the challenges and impacts of this educational model. Based on educational legislation and theoretical references, the study indicates that the extension of the school day has led to significant changes in the routine of students and their families, with both positive and negative impacts. The research, which adopts both qualitative and quantitative approaches, used questionnaires administered to high school students and their guardians. The results show that most students find the model exhausting, highlighting difficulties such as excessive workload, lack of time for studying and family interactions, as well as structural deficiencies in the school. Additionally, there is a perception that the emphasis on diverse subjects has reduced the hours dedicated to traditional subjects, further diminishing what had already been minimized with the implementation of the BNCC, thereby compromising learning. Families also express concerns about the reduced time spent with their children and the difficulty of actively participating in the school environment. The study concludes that, while full-time education can offer benefits, its implementation requires adaptations that take into account the local context, school infrastructure, and Community involvement to ensure that students truly benefit from this model.
