Resumo:
Public organizations have been constantly challenged to innovate the way they provide services to society, whether due to technological advances, the need to quickly meet public agendas, the expansion of social control, and the search for more efficient public management that truly adds value to citizens. This includes universities that seek to provide better educational conditions to society and, to do so, depend on a modern and innovative environment. The general objective of the study is to analyze the relationships between Organizational Modernity and Innovation in public services provided by the Federal University of Campina Grande. As for the research method, a case study was conducted, with a quantitative-qualitative, exploratory-descriptive approach, and comprised of field research that was conducted through an open and closed questionnaire with the Pro-Rectors of the institution studied.
